Achievements is the professional arm of The Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies and is housed in The Institute's Medieval premises.

In 2002 the Institute and Achievements featured on Working Lunch (BBC2); Antiques Ghostshow (BBC Living); Ruby (BBC1), Shop Talk (Radio 4) and numerous local radio stations, particularly BBC Radio Kent. Professional research, talks, guided tours and courses are all catered for from the Northgate head quarters.
