Within the peaceful grounds of Canterbury Cathedral you’ll find the most perfect hotel setting – rooms are set in a private courtyard and provide stunning views of Canterbury Cathedral. As part of staying at the Lodge, guests also receive free entry to the Cathedral throughout their stay.

The main Lodge building comprises of 28 bedrooms – this is a mixture of Singles, Doubles, Twins, and Accessible Double bedrooms, all with En-suite bathrooms and views of the Cathedral. All accessible rooms have wider entrances for wheelchair users, as well as grab rails in the wet-room style bathroom, a lowered sink, and a seat in the shower (this can be taken out if needed).

Our Burgate Annex holds our value accommodation – this is a mixture of Singles, Doubles, Twins, and our 2-bedroom self contained Apartment. Please be aware that these rooms are on the second floor in a building adjacent to the main Lodge, with no lift access (up 40 stairs), and no Cathedral views.

The self-contained apartment consists of 1 twin bedroom, 1 king bedroom (can be made into a twin upon request), a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The apartment is perfect for families or longer stays.
